Hi everyone, it's good to be back. Life has been hectic, but a lot of fun. As well as my novel

The Cloths of Heaven that is still selling on all the internet stores, I have just successfully completed a course at the University of Amsterdam, Intermedialities, basically how to assess an adaptation either from literature to film, or from stage to screen, or any other combination that might occur. I got to watch great films and read great books. I wrote essays on work by Ian McEwan, Vladimir Nobokov and Stanley Kubrick just to mention a few. Check the link below if you would like to read a new slant on Lolita or Angels in America

Also I will be posting my  suite101 column - The Writing Process - from idea to bookshelf, about once a fortnight, and welcome all your responses to it. I know when I first wrote it that it was well read by a lot of aspiring writers, was even used as reference material by colleges in Australia and America, and I look forward to a new batch of scribes reading it and mailing me with their questions and/or new ideas.

I have expanded my sevices and as well as designing this website, I also design folders, brochures and other promotional material. And being bi-lingual I translate creative and business texts from Dutch into English and copy edit texts to give them that last sharp edge they need.

But this site is all about writing.

And about writers' resources. I have made a links page of the sites I visit now. If you know of any others that are useful and informative let me know and I will add them to the page.

It is also a chance for you to follow my column and become a writer yourself.

I look forward to your feedback, and intend to keep the information up to date in response to your requests.

Be sure and e-mail me
