Not content with just writing novels, I get great pleasure out of my blog and other activities. These include writing essays for a short course I took at the university and making a documentary film with some of my classmates. Naturally I am part of the new social media explosion, too!

When I need to take a break, I enjoy painting, and sometimes use my own photographs for inspiration. The photographs are a chronicle of my favourite things to do. I enjoy holidays that involve a lot of nature walks and cycling. But visiting the large cities of Europe, like Barcelona and London, is also inspiring. And catching my favourite band, Metallica, in concert has to be a high point of any year.
